Island South: A Work in Progress!

Sitting on the serene Atantic Ocean is a small, intimate two building complex called Island South Condominiums.  This 36 unit condominium consists of two buildings, one that is directly oceanfront, the other with pool and ocean views.  With a private gated dune walkover, swimming pool, and grilling area, your family will be content to stay at the beach every day throughout your vacation.

Since Fall 2019, the community has been undergoing a restoration project, consisting of concrete repairs, railing replacements, and painting/waterproofing.  We're happy to announce that this project is nearing completion at the end of this spring, just in time for your summer beach getaway!  For repeat and new guests alike, all visitors will enjoy recent upgrades to the buildings and the community itself:

• A fresh, bright color theme for the buildings!  Tones of gray, white, and turquoise provide the perfect beach color palette.
• New railings, including stairwells and balconies.
• Recently built and sealed dune walkover, complete with shower and privacy gate.
• Repaired and replaced pool furniture.
• A lending library, located in the small office building next to the pool bathrooms.
• City-owned public parking spaces on 5th Street, so Island South's parking lot remains private.
